As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager at Amazon UK Services Ltd., you will be responsible for leading a team of engineering technicians in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in managing people in an engineering team and a strong focus on safety, with the ability to train, develop, and coach their team members.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, supporting, and mentoring the team to ensure they are working in a safe, standard, and efficient manner.
  • Working with the team and the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
  • Implementing network standards and focusing on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers.
  • Ensuring sufficient technical coverage is available for shifts by organizing and directing the training program for the team.
  • Organizing local projects or supporting EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
  • Being prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with statutory regulations, automated equipment, data analysis tools, and project management processes.

They will also have the ability to work collaboratively with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement safety and statutory compliance programs.
