Quality Assurance Specialist

At GCU UK Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in the fibre network construction sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all fibre network build activities meet the required standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve quality control documentation, including test plans, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and performance.
- Support the development and implementation of quality management systems and processes.
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality standards and best practices.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address quality concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the fibre network, telecoms, or utilities sectors.
- Strong knowledge of fibre optic construction standards, techniques, and best practices.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and auditing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in Quality Management, Telecommunications, or a related field are desirable.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
