About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hydon Hill, a vibrant service that actively involves its users in their local community.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling vulnerable individuals to live the life they choose. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide person-centred support, encouraging maximum independence and helping to achieve individual aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assist individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person Centred approach, promoting independence and helping individuals achieve their goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility and creativity in working with individuals and their families.
  • Personal care experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.

We offer a range of employee rewards, including Wagestream, a contributory company pension scheme, and access to a Cash Health Plan. We also offer a night enhancement of £1.50 per hour from 8pm to 7am and a weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
