The Emerald Group is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Assistant Manager to join its team in London. This is a unique opportunity for a nearly qualified actuary looking to progress their career.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual with excellent analytical skills and experience in actuarial work, particularly in reserve reviews, Solvency II actuarial reporting, and IFRS 17 transition assessments. The successful candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary client engagement teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client engagement teams to deliver high-quality actuarial work as part of external audit assignments.
  • Reserve calculations for personal lines and the Company's Market, including Statements of Actuarial Opinion and Solvency II Technical Provisions.
  • Assist with ad-hoc work across reserving, capital modelling, and pricing, including advisory assignments, internal audits, and due diligence.
