Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to lead and manage our pharmacy distribution service. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for managing our responsive medicines storage and supply service, contributing to the ongoing review and strategic development of this service, and innovating and implementing service development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support a team of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support staff
  • Develop and implement service development initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy distribution service
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and strategic development of the pharmacy distribution service
  • Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice and relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve service goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in leadership and managing change
  • Good working knowledge of Good Distribution Practice and relevant regulations
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems
