Zest Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher for Key Stage 1 to join our team at a primary school in Cannock. This one-form entry school is renowned for its supportive environment and offers opportunities for professional development.

This child-centred school prioritizes inclusion and academic success for all, with differentiated lessons to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. You will have the opportunity to be creative when designing lessons, incorporating resources and activities to accommodate different learning paces and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a Key Stage 1 class in line with the school's child-centred approach
  • Implement effective and inclusive policies and behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging lessons and activities
  • Support the overall well-being and development of students in the classroom
  • Participate in school events and activities as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is desirable but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Zest Education Ltd is an REC audited agency dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

The salary for this position is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.

This role is for temporary supply work.
