Senior Construction Manager

Altrad Babcock is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team in Cumbria. As a key member of our KDP5 Framework team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of construction work on site, coordinating and overseeing our skilled tradespeople to ensure work is conducted within established safety, quality, schedule, and cost standards.
About the Role
As a Senior Construction Manager, you will have a proven track record of managing functional and dispersed teams, with a strong focus on client and people management skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of 5-15 people, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the delivery of construction work on site
* Oversee the work of skilled tradespeople to ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and cost standards
* Develop and implement project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion
* Manage and motivate a team of 5-15 people to achieve project goals
* Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
Requirements
* Time-served apprentice or NVQ level 2/C&G
* Knowledge and application of construction methodologies, procedures, and process delivery in a safe manner to quality, cost, and schedule
* ECITB SMTDS/NVQ Level 3 or 4 ACE
