Job Summary:

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team as an Oncology Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing an exemplary pharmacy service, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, and promoting a patient-focused approach to healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the management of medicines within the hospital and its departments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and promote a patient-focused approach to healthcare.
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation, professional standards, and hospital policies.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Current experience in oncology pharmacy, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level.
  • Clinical diploma or equivalent qualification desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideal candidate will be accredited with BOPA digital SACT passport or have suitable background in clinical screening of SACT to support accreditation.
  • Ideal candidate will be a current member of BOPA.

Working Arrangements:

This is a bank position, working on a flexible basis to cover busy periods, sickness, or annual leave. We offer competitive rates to our bank colleagues.
