Service Advisor

At Recra Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide timely and accurate information to customers, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
- Service Flow: Work in accordance with the Service Flow to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Communication: Handle telephone enquiries in a friendly and open manner, using the company standard greeting.
- Job Planning: Plan work by running ADP service due reports, checking customer data quality, and arranging work with customers.
- Job Management: Create job cards, checking for existing parts and service WIPs and campaigns, liaising with customers, and following through to completion.
- Financial Management: Agree with customers and the workshop on who will pay for the work, checking account details, and obtaining authorisation.
- Service Profitability: Maximise service and parts profitability through the use of professional sales techniques.
- Workshop Management: Load workshop schedules to maximise workshop capacity utilisation.
- Courtesy Car Management: Manage the booking, checking out, and checking back in of courtesy cars via ADP.
- MOT Planning: Ensure all MOTs are planned via ADP and communicated to customers and VOSA.
- Customer Experience: Meet and greet customers on arrival in a professional and friendly manner, checking vehicles in and out via Workshop Loading in ADP.
- Problem Solving: Obtain full descriptions of product issues from customers, using open questions, to enable the workshop to quickly diagnose the cause.
- Quality Control: Ensure customers' defect procedures are adhered to, maintaining ADP workshop loading, and keeping customers informed of job progress at all times.
- Administration: Assist in maintaining a daily flow of quality job cards to Coster for invoicing, checking and issuing sublet order numbers, and arranging external works as required.
- Customer Satisfaction: Explain invoices to customers, explain and book outstanding defects for next scheduled events, and follow up after the service/repair visit to check customer satisfaction as per the Service Flow.
- Depot Administration: Carry out any depot administration tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
- Lead Generation: Pass leads on to relevant departments for potential business.
- Shift Handover: Communicate handover across shifts, work that is due to come in, and anyone needing contacting.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 42 hours, 08.30am – 17.30pm (inclusive of 60 minutes unpaid break), Alternate Saturdays, 8.00am-12.00pm Included in Salary.
