Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Management, and Civil Engineering, with experience spanning Hydrology, Hydraulic Modelling, Flood Risk, Water Quality, and Pollution. A mentoring background is beneficial.

This position requires full-time presence in the office initially, where you will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, as well as completing varied projects related to Hydrological, Surface Water, Water Quality, Flood Risk, and Drainage for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, and Water Companies.

Responsibilities:
  • Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
  • Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.
  • Water Framework Directive Assessments.
  • Water Quality Assessments.
  • Nutrient Neutrality Assessments.
  • Hydrological Assessments.
  • Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.
  • Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
  • Drainage Strategies.

A comprehensive understanding of the UK based Environmental Consultancy's approach to Hydrology, Ecology, and Environmental Management is essential.

Requirements
  • Strong academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Management, and Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in Hydrology, Hydraulic Modelling, Flood Risk, Water Quality, and Pollution.
  • Mentoring background is beneficial.
