About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in the North Camden Recovery Team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with severe mental illness in Camden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage complex clinical cases involving severe and enduring mental illness and significant risk histories.
  • Provide expert clinical leadership to the North Camden Recovery Team and contribute to the leadership of the Camden & Islington Recovery & Rehabilitation Division.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Participate in clinical audit, investigating serious incidents, and handling complaints.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice.
  • Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status (or eligibility).
  • Registered with Royal College of Psychiatrists CPD programme and in good standing.
  • Shared Services training up to date to be an approved trainer/clinical supervisor.
