Job Title: Football Technology Specialist

Location: United Kingdom (London)

Part time, hourly

Description:

We are seeking a skilled individual to work as a Software Operator for our Semi Automated Offside Technology product. This role is responsible for ensuring the continued development and success of SAOT. You will work in a live environment to apply software expertise to aid in matchday situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of live play and system operations.
  • Master and have complete command over the entire SAOT system and processes.
  • Analyse live tracks, validate markings, and provide quality assurance as necessary for all system events.

Requirements:

  • Extreme attentiveness and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge and experience with definitional football terms.
  • Proactive communication skills.
  • A strong tolerance for repetitive tasks.
  • Prior experience with making time-critical judgment calls regarding live data processing and engineering support.
  • Enforcement of self-accountability and leadership of a large team.
  • A background working with football refereeing terms or ideally, as a referee, would be desirable but not essential.

Additional Position Details:

  • Must be able and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess flexibility, including early morning and late evenings.
  • Must be within an hour of West London.
