Production Administrator Position Overview

Our client, a leading provider of sub-contract manufacturing services, is seeking a Production Administrator to join their team in Midhurst, West Sussex. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate closely with the management team to plan production based on customer order forecasts and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  2. Raise production work orders in alignment with customer orders and maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, inventory usage, and quality control documentation.
  3. Update inventory levels, ensuring materials and components are available for production as required.
  4. Act as a point of contact for customers regarding production schedules, order status, and specific requirements or changes.
  5. Facilitate daily production meetings with key personnel, ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
  6. Produce service and customer-specific quotations by understanding the full scope of our manufacturing processes, costs, and customer requirements.
  7. Support the management team in performing cost analysis and margin calculations for new and existing processes.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas where production efficiency and quality can be enhanced.
  9. Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.
Requirements:
  1. Strong administrative skills with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
  2. Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
