Salary and Benefits

Our salaries are competitive and based on the candidate's experience. The estimated salary for this role is £47,700 to £65,587 per annum in London and £43,981 to £60,474 per annum nationally. We also offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, flexible working hours, and a comprehensive training programme.

Job Description

We're seeking experienced front-end and back-end developers to join our new Software Engineering function. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software systems, working closely with our product and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing front-end and back-end applications using modern technologies and frameworks;
  • Collaborating with our product team to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs;
  • Working with our IT team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure;
  • Improving the overall performance, scalability, and security of our software systems;
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to our coding standards;
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong experience in front-end and back-end development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions;
  • Excellent knowledge of modern technologies and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant back-end technologies;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers;
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
