Theatre Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Technician to join our team at the Royal Spa Centre in Leamington Spa. As a Theatre Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Technical and Facilities Manager and the Technical Supervisor in delivering all technical requirements across our three venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of technical requirements for live performances, cinema screenings, and events
  • Work with the technical team to support a diverse range of incoming shows and events
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the department and its assets
  • Deploy to facilitate events at the Town Hall and Leamington Art Gallery and Museum as required

Requirements:

  • At least 1-year practical experience of rigging, operations, and programming of theatrical lighting equipment and live performance sound equipment
  • Qualification in a theatre discipline or equivalent experience
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
