Job Description:

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead site construction teams in delivering projects within approved budget and time frames. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale programme delivery, particularly in the water/wastewater treatment industry.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing site performance, approving RAMS, and driving a focus on zero waste. They will also ensure that site teams raise relevant contractual and commercial notices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage site construction teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to an agreed quality standard.
  • Responsible for supplier performance in relation to safety, time, and quality, including approval of RAMS documents.
  • Take the lead in constructability reviews, project rehearsal, and fit-for-assembly sign-off.
  • Drive a culture of zero waste and ensure environmental sustainability.
  • Ensure that site teams are aware of and adhere to contractual and commercial requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Temporary works experience/qualification.
  • Project management experience with a proven track record of delivering large-scale programmes.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in managing and monitoring project programmes.
  • Working knowledge of CDM and construction health and safety regulations.
  • Able to motivate and manage multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Strategic, operational, technical, and management skills.

Salary: The salary for this role is £500 per day, reflecting the importance of the position and the skills required. This rate is competitive and takes into account the candidate's expertise and experience.
