Community Transport Specialist - Join Arriva Kent Thameside Limited as a Bus Driver and be at the heart of the community. Our Stevenage depot is the perfect place to start your bus driving career, connecting our customers to what matters to them.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and community support. As a Bus Driver, you will be the face of our company, building relationships and making a difference in people's lives. You will be responsible for getting commuters to work, helping customers with their daily needs, and getting children to school.

Competitive Rates:

  • £16.50 per hour for experienced drivers (increasing to £17.00 in August 2024)
  • £1 per hour pay uplift after 8pm
  • Saturday: £17.50 per hour (£18.00 from August 2024)
  • Sunday: £17.50 per hour (£18.00 from August 2024)
  • Overtime: £18.15 per hour (£18.70 from August 2024)
  • Bank Holiday Time: +2/3ds (Current lieu day arrangements maintained)

Requirements:

  • PCV Licence (If you do not have this, please apply to our trainee bus driver role)
  • You will need to be over 18 with at least 6 months driving experience.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • You will be required to do a drug and alcohol test when you come for a driving assessment.
  • You will be required to work weekends depending on your rota.
