Job Overview
As Senior Data Engineer at Beamsrenovation, you will lead the development of scalable, reliable data pipelines and warehousing solutions on AWS (or GCP), ensuring our data ecosystem can seamlessly adapt to the growing needs of the business.
Your work will be essential in making data a central, accessible asset that empowers every team at Beamsrenovation, underpins our ability to scale effectively, and provides cutting-edge technology and capabilities to help transform how we operate and our customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS tools such as Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- Develop and manage data warehousing solutions with services like Redshift or S3-based data lakes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and optimize data workflows.
- Maintain data integrity and security while ensuring best practices for data governance and compliance.
- Integrate machine learning pipelines and contribute to MLOps practices to support data science initiatives.
- Explore and leverage AWS and other services for agentic AI and machine learning capabilities, contributing to innovative AI-driven solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a data engineer, specializing in AWS data pipelines and warehousing.
- Expertise with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and Step Functions.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data warehousing best practices.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration and automation.
Competitive Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, opportunities for professional growth and skill development within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and a budget for learning & development to support your growth.
