We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support our team in Kettering. This position offers a fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those with additional needs.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities and materials.
  • Support students' social and emotional development, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school-related activities.
  • Help with administrative tasks such as maintaining student records and preparing resources.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working as a TA in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
  • DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
