Time-Served Fabricator / Metalworker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator / Metalworker to join our client's team in Washington, North East England. As a key member of their closely-knit team of designers and makers, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metalwork pieces for their luxury furniture manufacturer and finishing specialist business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidently read and interpret technical drawings to produce accurate metalwork pieces
  • Skilled in MIG and TIG welding, with a focus on producing high-quality finishes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and improve continually
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
Requirements:
  • Time-served metalworker with experience in fabrication and welding
  • Passionate about metalwork and committed to producing high-quality pieces
  • Ability to work from drawings with minimal instruction and to tight tolerances
  • Highly organized, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Driving license and ability to travel to work
