Our client is a leading 1st tier automotive business looking for a Maintenance Equipment Technician to work on automated production lines.

Previous experience in precision manufacturing and skills including Mechanical and Electrical Support (Mech bias), knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLCs are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedule, attend to breakdowns and ensure maximum performance from vital production equipment.
  • Fault-finding of PLC controlled equipment and robotics.

Requirements:

  • Previous precision Manufacturing industry experience such as Automotive, Aerospace or Rail Systems.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician.
  • Sound knowledge of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems and Automated production equipment such as PLCs and Robotics.

Desirable Requirements:

  • 18th Edition or similar electrical qualification.
  • Experience in Automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management System.
