About the Role

We're looking for a talented Head of Financial Operations to join our team at JasperRose. This part-time position (3-4 days per week) offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of financial operations and drive strategic decision-making.

With a strong focus on financial control and compliance, you'll be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing VAT returns, and implementing robust financial systems. Your expertise will help us achieve our ambitious 400% revenue growth target over the next 3 years.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Owning the budgeting and forecasting cycles, collaborating with departmental heads to review these
  • Partnering with the Managing Director on delivering the 5-year strategic plans
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
  • Managing financial statements preparation
  • Responsible for VAT returns
  • Implementing robust financial controls within the business
  • Building and developing a finance team as the business grows

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience working in the fashion retail industry. You'll have a strong commercial finance background and ability to own financial controls, preferably in an SME environment. Knowledge of Xero is desirable but not essential. You'll thrive in an autonomous yet strategic role where you can shape finance and support the business's future growth.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 + benefits and a chance to work in an entrepreneurial environment amongst a credible senior leadership team. As the business grows, you can develop your career and step up to Finance Director or other senior roles within the company.
