SHEQ Manager

Fusion People is looking for a seasoned SHEQ Manager to lead our safety efforts in the Water / Construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective safety management systems, training and mentoring staff, and conducting internal audits and assessments.

1. SHEQ Policy Development: Develop, review, and update SHEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Staff Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to staff members on SHEQ matters, including risk assessments, safe working practices, and incident reporting.
3. Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SHEQ policies and procedures.
4. Certification Maintenance: Ensure that all necessary certifications, such as Achilles UVDB and Constructionline, are maintained and updated.

• Qualifications: A relevant professional qualification, such as the NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, is required.
• Experience: Substantial experience within the construction industry is essential, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement safety management systems.
• Travel and Flexibility: The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout the UK and have flexibility in their work schedule.

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus a company car and package. In addition, we provide opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
