At Carpenter Farraday, we are seeking an experienced Head of Financial Planning Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their financial goals and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their financial goals and needs.
  • Prepare and present tailored financial plans, investment strategies, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clients' financial situations and adjust plans as necessary to adapt to changing circumstances and market conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.

Management and Mentoring:

  • Mentor and support a small but growing team of financial planners, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development and driving the new business pipeline.
  • Conduct employee reviews to ensure ongoing competence of staff and that client service meets the required standards.
  • Take ownership of the advice process, reviewing appropriate policies and procedures, and aligning them with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Challenge the status quo and draw on experience to improve processes and procedures.

Business Development:

  • Identify and exploit opportunities for business development.
  • Supporting key projects and initiatives within the business as required.

Conduct:

  • Promoting the company's values.
  • Adherence to the conduct rules as defined by the FCA.
  • Taking responsibility for personal training as required to keep abreast with the latest regulatory and legislative changes.
