We are seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement leader to spearhead our Continuous Improvement program and associated tools and techniques, driving measurable business benefits across our manufacturing processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will collaborate with our Operations and Supply Chain teams to create a safe, efficient, and effective operation that continually improves across people, process, and technology. They will utilize analysis of plant efficiency, labor costs, product yields, production wastage, and other data to prioritize, plan, and deliver improvements across plants. Additionally, they will actively seek digital improvements across all areas of manufacturing.

**Key Accountabilities**

• Design and deliver a comprehensive Continuous Improvement program to support operational excellence and business strategy
• Collaborate within a culture where safety is paramount at all times
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing factory Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and clean-as-you-go standards
• Train teams in the use of relevant tools and techniques
• Maintain awareness of the latest thinking in improvement approaches, operational excellence, and industry best practices, reviewing and factoring into CI programs or recommending to Department Managers for utilization in area improvements where relevant
• Ensure compliance with all environmental and sustainability requirements across the site
• Energy usage and sustainability must be factored into all decision-making and projects
• Coach and develop CI approach, tools, and techniques across the business
• Create a culture where CI/lean principles are embedded into the day-to-day operation
• Review, embed, and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Visual Management processes to inform on and drive improving performance on agreed metrics
• Support the implementation of Shift, Daily, Weekly, Monthly (SDWM) performance review and improvement meeting structure to include Health and Safety, Quality, and Performance. Output to include actions, owners, and delivered within agreed timescales to eliminate root causes
• Establish a common investigation and problem-solving approach to establish root causes, clear preventative actions, follow-up, and closure
• Support the agreed delivery of specific Capital Expenditure (Capex) and Business Investment Projects (BIP)

**Requirements**

• Demonstrated experience in delivering improvements in a manufacturing environment using CI tools and techniques
• Trained in Lean and Six Sigma techniques
