Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Stublach Natural Gas Storage site in Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and further developing all aspects of the electrical asset management, ensuring the company is following all statutory and best practice guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage electrical contractors whilst on site
  • Plan and provide operational support for electrical maintenance to close out plant defects
  • Further develop and monitor for effectiveness the preventive maintenance routines
  • Generate Scope of Work documents for tender
  • Plan the electrical aspects of plant outages
  • Communicate effectively with the Regulator and Key Stakeholders
  • Lead on site modification (MoC) relating to electrical systems

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in the oil and gas, or process industries
  • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering
  • High Voltage authorisation
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Responsible, proactive and self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude
