Warehouse Operative Job Description

Right Now Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit Warehouse Operatives for their existing Warehouse Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods and supplies on site under supervision to ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform basic warehouse and store tasks under supervision, ensuring all goods and supplies are stored and recorded in line with agreed procedures.
  • Complete basic packaging tasks and assist others by following established procedures under supervision.
  • Perform basic inventory control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records.
  • Operate basic equipment and machines and carry out routine tasks.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Desirable Skills:

  • Good attitude and people skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience in working within a busy Warehouse role.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Previous Forklift experience, ideally with Bendi or Counterbalance.
  • Interest in understanding and working with a range of technical products.

Location: Warwick

Salary: £11.82 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary, Long-Term

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, working closely with the team to achieve this goal.
