About the Role

The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Respiratory, Critical Care and Surgical (ARCCS) team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing specialist assessment, treatment, and advice to patients within their area of specialty.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist assessment, treatment, and advice to patients in line with current practice and research.
  • Supervise and mentor junior therapists and assistants.
  • Participate in the training of undergraduate Occupational Therapists.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Occupational Therapy service.
  • Work closely with other highly specialized team members to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Undertaken clinical educators training.
  • Evidence of recent and relevant CPD.
  • Skills in assessment and treatment of patients, supervision, and leadership.
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead change.
