Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work at one of our leading primary schools in South East London.

About the Role
  • This 1:1 SEN TA role will require you to collaborate with the classroom teacher and other education staff, providing outstanding support and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with specific learning needs, in line with their EHCP.
  • Assist with classroom tasks, ensuring the child remains engaged and supported during lessons.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor and report on the child's progress.
  • Adapt learning materials to support the child's development and ensure inclusion in all activities.
  • During the child's absence, assist the Year 3 teaching team with general classroom duties, group work, and other tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN), and preferably in an educational or special education setting. A salary range of £90-103 per day is offered for this role.
