Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hargate Healthcare Ltd.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with emotional and behavioural challenges.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic care, leading a team, and assisting the Service Manager in day-to-day operations.

About the Role:

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a strong understanding of child-centred models of care, excellent communication skills, and a caring nature.

You will work closely with colleagues and children to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment that fosters growth, recovery, and lasting change.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 months' experience in residential childcare, a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare, and knowledge of therapeutic models.

Requirements:

A minimum of 12 months' experience in residential childcare

A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (recognised in your pay rate)

Knowledge of therapeutic, child-centred models of care

Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £27,580 - £28,797 per annum (£13.60 - £14.20 per hour), plus an additional £3,000 - £6,000 per annum for sleep-ins.
