We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medicines Safety Practitioner to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. As a key member of our Medicines Safety Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe use of medication across our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and guidance on medication-related incidents, ensuring learning from such is embedded into practice and shared across our footprint.
- Support the Medication Safety Officer in investigating medicines incidents, reviewing investigations, disseminating alerts, preparing reports, and sharing lessons learned.
- Take a lead in preparing for the Medication Safety Committee, including analysis of data from our incident management system, providing interpretation and reports as appropriate to a wide variety of staff groups.
