Facilities Maintenance Assistant

Contract: Part time, 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Eastwood Park, a closed category adult female prison. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with COSHH and relevant health and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to achieve common goals
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the prison by providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a cleaning environment
- Knowledge of COSHH and relevant health and safety requirements
- Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
