We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at an established secondary school near Wimborne. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Maths and be able to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Maths to secondary school students
  • Fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Developing creative teaching methods to enhance student understanding
  • Collaborating with colleagues to improve curriculum and student outcomes

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

  • Hold UK recognised QTS
  • Have experience teaching Maths to students in KS3/KS4 in the UK
  • Have experience planning towards UK National Curriculum Objectives
  • Be passionate about teaching children
  • Be patient, caring and engaging
  • Be enthusiastic about education
  • Hold or be prepared to apply for an Enhanced Child Only DBS check on the Update Service

The school is looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible, but would be open to a January start date as an alternative. The hours of work will be 8.15am to 3pm, and the role will include planning and marking. All roles are paid to scale.
