We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Teaching Assistant to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a Primary and Secondary school setting in Liverpool.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs and be able to work effectively with teachers and other support staff to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The role will involve supporting students on a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups and whole class settings, to help them manage their emotions and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting students with emotional and behavioural needs in a Primary and Secondary school setting
- Working with teachers and other support staff to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups and whole class settings
- Helping students to manage their emotions and behaviour
- Preparing the classroom for lessons and supporting teachers with classroom activities
- Experience in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs
- Ability to work effectively with teachers and other support staff
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to take one out
