Job Title: Casual LGV Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Casual LGV Driver to join our team at Culina Group. As a Casual LGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the transport office at the start of shift and ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
- Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety, and hygiene.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department and ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
- Make deliveries to customers' premises, acting in a professional manner at all times and ensuring proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
- Ensure regular communication with the Transport Office/Customer Services and observe and adhere to site procedures at each delivery point.
- Complete a defect report as and when required and achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
Requirements:
- Possession of LGV Class C+E Licence and valid DCPC.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work without direct supervision, and adaptable and methodical approach to work/training.
- Conscientious and reliable, professional and approachable, excellent communication skills, and ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
