Site Quality Management Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction at the Haddenham facility for the Quality Assurance and Food Safety sectors to guarantee product safety, integrity, and adherence to Customer, Divisional, Corporate, and regulatory standards.
- Proactively oversee the Quality & Food Safety Management Program at the Haddenham facility to ensure alignment with Company, Regulatory, Third-party, and Customer benchmarks, while achieving Quality goals and KPI targets.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Quality Assurance Policies and enhance customer quality satisfaction through the implementation of programs that monitor raw materials, in-process materials, production processes, environmental conditions, and finished goods.
- Drive initiatives aimed at continuously enhancing Quality performance within the factory by identifying and implementing key performance indicators for Quality and Food Safety, and spearheading initiatives for improvement.
- Supervise the Performance and Development of the Site Quality Team at McCormick Haddenham.
- Lead the incident management protocol and provide training and coaching at the site level.
- Actively participate as a member of the Site's Operations Leadership Team to offer guidance on Quality and Food Safety matters and support Operational activities conducted within the facility.
- Oversee the plant Quality Budget, implementing suitable Financial Controls to ensure that expenditures are effectively managed and cost-saving initiatives are recognized and initiated when necessary.
- Engage actively and influence the Quality community for McCormick EMEA.
Candidate Profile:
- BSc in Technical - Quality/Research/Product Development.
- Proven experience in Manufacturing quality (preferably in food production).
- Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated track record in managing multiple projects and teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, BRC Auditing, Quality Systems, and Hygiene is essential.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable insights for both small and large groups in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Proficient in utilizing appropriate root cause analysis decision tools for effective decision-making.
- Ability to engage with various levels within the organization as well as with external contacts and Customers.
- Capable of providing supervision, conducting competency assessments, and delivering training.
