About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team in the Orthopaedic Scrub department at Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited. As an Operating Department Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our surgical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing surgical scrub services for orthopaedic procedures, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Working effectively in a team environment to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Providing support to the surgical team during procedures, including maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies

Requirements

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
