About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operative to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities Directorate, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive patient support service across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-quality, responsive, and efficient patient support service to wards and departments, acting in a caring and professional manner.
  • Work within a team to provide a timely, responsive, and proactive driver courier/porter service for the movement of patients, internal mail, furniture, materials, and equipment within the site.
  • Ensure all waste is collected, transported, and disposed of in accordance with Trust Policies and procedures and current legislation.
  • Convey and move patients by wheelchair, trolley, bed, etc., including assisting clinical staff to reduce risk.
  • Movement of deceased persons complying with Trust Policies and Procedures.
