About the Role:

We are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' school in Hackney. The successful candidate will support the implementation of individualised learning plans, assist students in developing communication, social, and life skills, and work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to meet the diverse needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of individualised learning plans

  • Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere in the classroom
  • Encourage student independence and confidence

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • A genuine passion for working with children with autism and special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
