Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team at ISS Facility Services UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out planned maintenance (PPM) in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability of plant and associated electrical systems.
  • To ensure onsite quality assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with electrical aspects of PPM and plant.
  • Carry out technical surveys of services and systems, reporting findings to the Engineering Services Manager (ESM). Produce lists of costs of materials required for minor works.
  • To coordinate initial actions associated with all requests from clients. Deal with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management.
  • Electrical fault diagnosis associated with PPM or reactive maintenance of the site.
  • Carry out minor installation work to services and systems.
  • Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
  • To coordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical aspects of PPM schedules. Survey and accept new works carried out by specialist sub-contractors.

Requirements

  • Clear experience and Mechanical and/or Electrical qualifications.
