Swimming Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Swimming Teacher to join our team at Sporting House, one of Britain's most successful sport and leisure businesses.

As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children aged 3-11 years, inspiring them to develop a lifelong love of swimming.

Our Swimming Program is designed to provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all swimmers, with a focus on developing their skills and confidence in the water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver swimming lessons, ensuring adherence to our scheme of work and lesson plans
  • Integrate our program reward schemes into classes, motivating swimmers to reach their full potential
  • Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly
  • Conduct dynamic risk assessments and maintain high safety standards in sessions
  • Identify swimmers' abilities and provide personalized feedback and guidance
  • Develop swimmers' techniques and identify ways to improve performance
  • Create a positive and fun environment, motivating and encouraging swimmers to achieve their goals
  • Evaluate sessions and provide constructive feedback
  • Regularly assess each swimmer's ability and progress, arranging for the award of certificates using our online portal

Requirements:

  • Ability to inspire confidence and motivate swimmers

  • Ability to encourage people and put them at ease
  • Desire to meet individual needs
  • Professional, punctual, and well-organized, with flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends
