Epsom College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Netball Programme Manager to join our team. As Assistant Director, you will play a key role in driving forward the Netball programme for girls at the College.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of playing or coaching Netball to a high level. They will be responsible for working with the Director of Netball to create a first-class programme of girls' netball, including assisting with the organisation of the offseason programme and the organisation of coaching and fixtures programme.

You will also be responsible for implementing an all-inclusive netball coaching structure, including pre-season and the summer term. This will involve contributing to the sports programme at Epsom across all three terms and assisting the Director of Sport/Director of Netball with the delivery of the Sports Scholarship Programme.

In addition, you will be expected to work with local netball clubs, staying up to date with the latest pathway opportunities for talented athletes. You will also contribute to the planning of the long-term development and coaching strategy for netball at the College.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £38,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience. The post holder will be entitled to the statutory minimum holiday entitlement under the Working Time Regulations, which will be taken during school holidays.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience of playing or coaching Netball to a high level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills to engage with pupils and the wider College community
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently, with a proactive, flexible and positive approach to all duties and responsibilities
  • Good working knowledge of IT software, including Word and Excel
