Education Welfare Lead

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, and this role is essential in supporting us in achieving our goals. As an Education Welfare Lead, you will play a vital part in leading on behaviour, attendance, and welfare for a specific year group.
This position requires outstanding relational skills, a child-centred approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You must be extremely well organised, reliable, efficient in dealing with situations as they arise, and have the ability to prioritise workload. You will be expected to lead by example and use initiative.
You will be responsible for dealing with students, parents, and outside agencies in a professional, prompt, and confidential manner. This includes communicating effectively and building strong relationships with stakeholders to support the well-being of all pupils.
The salary for this position is NJC Grade D8-12, which equates to £25,992 - £27,711 per annum. The actual salary will be pro-rata based on the number of hours worked.
The role involves working Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year, with an average of approximately 22 hours per week. Alternatively, you may work three days per week, also 39 weeks per year, with an average of approximately 13 hours per week.
