Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-On Project Management: From day one, you'll be immersed in flagship projects, taking on the role of a Design Manager for some of the most exciting schemes globally.
  • Comprehensive Training: Benefit from one-on-one mentorship with seasoned design managers who will guide you through the transition, offering unparalleled insights and support.
  • Client and Team Leadership: You'll work closely with senior directors, managing everything from client relationships to programming, contracts, project finances, and the coordination of large consultant teams.
  • Commercial Exposure: Manage projects valued between £75-£400+ million, developing a deep understanding of the commercial and strategic aspects of design management.
  • Architectural Experience: Minimum of 2 years working as an Architect, Project Architect, or Senior Architect in a UK-based, design-led practice on large-scale projects over £50 million.
  • Design/Project Management Knowledge: Some familiarity with the responsibilities of a Lead Consultant and experience with project documentation like design programming. Experience in leading design team meetings and managing external consultants, with the ability to develop project stage reports.

While international travel is optional, you'll have the opportunity to work on projects that span the globe, adding impressive international experience to your portfolio.
