About the Role

You will use your analytical skills to investigate suspicious behaviour, providing new insights to customers that lead to immediate real-world impact. This includes reducing customer friction, lowering fraud losses, and increasing customer profitability.

As a Fraud Prevention Specialist at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, you will leverage our real-time platform analyzing billions of transactions per month for some of the largest companies in Financial Services, Insurance, e-Commerce, and On-Demand Services.

Your comprehensive policy will go head-to-head against motivated attackers to protect billions in revenue. You'll work with internal product and engineering teams, customer-facing account teams, and external business leaders and risk managers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting in-depth reviews of complex fraud cases, identifying trends and actionable insights, documenting findings and making clear recommendations on how to mitigate risk.
  2. Using SQL and Python skills to increase fraud capture while reducing false positives, conducting offline analysis of customer data to expose patterns and statistically tune policies.
  3. Building dashboards & reports to track value delivered by the solution, scoping, planning, and delivering customer-focused projects including root cause analysis, reports, dashboards, rule mining, and health checks.
  4. Crafting stories through data, collaborating with ThreatMetrix teams around the world to redefine best practices.
  5. Demonstrating knowledge of Python, SQL, and BI tools such as SuperSet, Tableau, or PowerBI, having attention to detail to ensure quality of project delivery for customers stands out amongst industry peers.
  6. Tracking record of building executive reports and presentations, interest or experience in consulting within the risk, fraud, or payments industry, fluency in both English and Russian is essential for this role.

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
