Research Chemist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Research Chemist to join our team in Lancashire. As a key member of our R&D department, you will play a crucial part in developing new and existing products, researching and testing new raw materials, and building strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting in the development of both new and existing products and formulations
  • Testing products against standards and for application
  • Research and test new raw materials
  • Supporting in Quality Control (QC) testing when required
  • Support in troubleshooting production issues
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
  • Proven industrial experience of development/formulation work of products, ideally within the construction and DIY sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
