Laundry Worker

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team at Derbyshire County Council. As a Laundry Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment for residents and staff.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing a comprehensive laundry service by washing, drying, and ironing all items as instructed;
• Disinfecting any soiled items and meeting clients' personal laundry needs, including urgent repairs where necessary;
• Working with a variety of laundry machines and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the laundry area.
