SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Oxford

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary school in Oxford. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Maths and English and will be confident in supporting pupils with Autism or SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with Autism or SEMH needs on a 1-2-1 basis
  • Working within a Year 1 or 4 class to provide additional support
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support pupils with SEN

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, preferably in a Primary school setting
  • Strong background in Maths and English
  • Confidence in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work as part of a team
