Pension Fund Accounting Deputy Manager

XPS Pensions Group is a leading UK consulting and administration business specialising in the pensions and insurance sectors. Our Pension Fund Accounting business continues to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced Deputy Team Manager Pension Fund Accounts to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior pension fund accountant to take on a fresh challenge and lead a team of pension fund accountants. The successful candidate will have extensive skills and knowledge as a senior pension fund accountant and will be responsible for preparing pension scheme Trustee Report & Accounts, preparing all necessary working papers and reconciliations of the financial statements, and providing expert advice to pensions accounts queries.

  • Ensuring company policies and working procedures are implemented and adhered to by the team
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven accounting background gained within either an accounting practice or a third-party pension's provider. They will have a broad knowledge of accounting techniques, including reconciliation, year-end processes, and previous Pensions Fund Accounting (PFA) experience. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
