We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood, a category C prison in Staffordshire. As a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality healthcare to a diverse group of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
- Deliver first-class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, including those with complex and long-term conditions.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a highly specialist resource to the patients and the healthcare team.
- Contribute to clinical governance and effectiveness activities to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:
- MBChB or MBBS qualification.
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
- Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
