We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood, a category C prison in Staffordshire. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
• Deliver first-class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, including those with complex and long-term conditions.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a highly specialist resource to the patients and the healthcare team.
• Contribute to clinical governance and effectiveness activities to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

• MBChB or MBBS qualification.
• Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
• Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
• Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
